Even with the addition of a chain link fence with barbed wire on top, it was not long before vagrants and vandals found their way in. Here the rear entry door is missing, the upper window in the navigators compartment is smashed opening up the interior to the elements - not good for long term preservation. [via Harry Friedman] |
