In the foreground of the picture below is the restored front access hatch that had been conserved and repaired. As can be seen, the original skin with the name ‘Stuka’ painted on it has been saved for historical reference and the repair log for the finished component attached to it. This procedure adopted by the MBMA was and is standard aeronautical and historical practice. |
